So, I originally got my ukulele last year when I was doing a songwriting challenge. Now, I’m shit at writing my own songs, but I don’t think I’m too bad at singing OTHER people’s songs. And I decided to fiddle around today (as I do sometimes) and record myself. This is done entirely with my own vocals and my ukulele. Yes, even the percussion.

There’s this one singer, Victoria Vox, whom I really like. She did an all ukulele album a few years back, “Victoria Vox & Her Jumping Flea”.
It’s a really nice album (plus, she’s from my area, so I’m a big supporter of her). :)
Hee! I have a soft spot for uke music – Ingrid Michaelson is one of my favourite singers/songwriters, and she uses hers quite a bit. :)
The thing is, it’s a very nice sound. Ukulele has a bad rap, I think from Tiny Tim mainly. =D
